Dheeraj Dhoopar to replace Sharad Malhotra in Naagin 5

Actor Sharab Malhotra who recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus is currently in-home quarantine. Now according to recent reports, Dheeraj Dhoopar will undertake Sharad Malhotra's character.

MUMBAI: Naagin 5 has been topping the TRP charts for a long time, audiences from all over are loving the stellar performances in the supernatural drama. Surbhi Chandana and Sharad Malhotra's onscreen chemistry was garnering appreciation until recently when the lead actor tested positive for the deadly virus. With the plot focussing on Banoi (Surbhi) and Veer's (Sharad) life after marriage in the show, the makers seem to be in major trouble to move the story further.

Now the buzz has it that Dheeraj Dhoopar, who was also part of Naagin 5 in its initial stage has been roped in to play Sharad Malhotra's character. Meanwhile, let's hope that Dheeraj does justice to Sharad's character. Now, it would be interesting to see Dheeraj and Surbhi's chemistry on the show. Also, wouldn't it be intriguing to see, if makers and writers, alter the plot, or continue with the same track?
