TellyChakkar had exclusively reported about Dashami Creations rolling out a crime-thriller show for Star Plus tentatively titled Rudrakaal. The project is supposed to be a finite series.
We had also reported about actors Bhanu Uday, Vidya Malavade, and Rudraksh Jaiswal being roped in for the project.

Now, the latest buzz is that actress Vidya Malavade will no longer be a part of the show. The makers have now roped in popular actress Dipannita Sharma to take over Vidya’s part.
Well, the reason for the replacement is still unknown.
For Dashmi Creations’ helmed by Nitin and Ninad Vaidya, the talent of an artist holds maximum importance. Unlike most of the shows, projects produced by Dashami Creations have actors who have the ability to bring the characters to life. The procedure of casting for this production house is extensive as they look for performers and not mere actors. Be it Abir Sofi from Mere Sai: Shraddha Aur Saburi or Stavan Shinde of Dil Dhoondta Hai, people at Dashami have been responsible for giving the industry some brilliant actors.
