MUMBAI: Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are a lovely couple that is unquestionably one of the most admired on television. The couple first starred together in Nach Baliye before sharing a screen in Sasural Simar Ka, much to the delight of their fans who are keen to see them working on a project together. Fans may get to see the duo in another new show soon. Additionally, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha starrer Silsila is the basis for the TV show.

In a recent interview with the popular news portal, producer Sandip Sikcand revealed a lot about himself. For those who don't know, Dipika starred alongside Karan V Grover in Sandip's drama Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum as the lead heroine. After the show aired, Dipika became quite famous, but she later took a step back after giving birth to her first child.

Sandip said in the most recent conversation that he wanted to cast Shoaib and Dipika and create a love tale featuring the husband and wife duo. The director has stated that he would like to cast both in a television remake of the film Silsila starrer Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan. Additionally, the director said that he would love to see their wonderful chemistry on screen.

The last time we saw Shoaib Ibrahim was in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where he placed among the finalists. However, Manisha Rani won the prize instead of him, therefore he was unable to win the trophy. However, following Sasural Simar Ka, viewers last witnessed Shoaib and Dipika together on Nach Baliye.
