Divided votes -Jay or Prachi?

The election fever has hit Gujarat. And the state is in a dilemma about which candidate to vote for. We are not talking about Modi and Keshubahai Patel. We are talking about our very own Jay Bhanushali and Prachi Desai. Prachi has been asking all her Gujarati brethren to vote for her. Afraid of being left out in the cold Jay has been asking Prachi to leave at least his own home state for him while she enjoys popularity through out the country as the most popular bahu of the small screen. While the two friends slug it out the viewers are going to have a tough time voting either one out!

Afraid of being left out in the cold Jay has been asking Prachi to leave at least his own home state for him while she enjoys popularity through out the country as the most popular bahu of the small screen. While the two friends slug it out the viewers are going to have a tough time voting either one out! Talking about this the affable Jay says, “I have no clue who is going to get more votes from Gujarat. As we both hail from there I think there will be a special crowd voting for Prachi and another special crowd voting for me. I am a special guy from Gujarat so I think Gujaratis will vote for me. They are like my family and you do not need to ask your family to vote for you. They do it willingly.” He continues, “I can’t say anything about who is going to win the title as it totally depends on the audiences. I am just going to utilise the four days ‘privilege’ leave that I have got from Balaji to the fullest.” Prachi’s mother says, “I feel females can easily relate to Prachi as they want their prospective bahus to be like her and hence she is loved by most women. In that case she is more popular. But other than regionalism, caste also plays a major role. Both belong to different castes and hence people from their own castes will vote for each of them. But you can’t comment on the certainty of votes, as people would say they would vote for you but it turns out to be the other way when the actual voting happens.” She also adds, “I think at times popularity can have an adverse effect. Since Prachi is popular people would take it for granted that she will get votes and she will win.” Prachi or Jay? You decide. Watch the 3 finalists -Sandhya, Jay Bhanushali and Prachi Desai battle it out in the FINALE, Friday Dec 14 and the GRAND FINALE, Dec 15 at 9.00 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television.
