MUMBAI : Actress Ekta Tiwari, who is currently seen in the show Gudiya Rani, says that it is sad to note that Vikas Sethi, Siddharth Shukla, and many other celebrities have unfortunately lost their lives due to cardiac arrest, despite being relatively young. She adds that this should serve as a wake-up call for us, emphasizing that no one should take health and wellness lightly.
“I’m affected and shaken whenever I hear bad news, especially about untimely deaths. As celebrities, we tend to come into the spotlight when something good or bad happens to us. However, health, wellness, and happiness are concerns that belong to everyone, not just celebrities,” she says.
She adds, “People often assume that our work style, long hours, and the pressure of maintaining a certain image are the main reasons behind untimely deaths. But in reality, everyone these days is living a fast-paced lifestyle without considering the limits of their mind and body. It’s not just us—celebrities are simply more visible.”
Talking about how she stays fit, she says, “Personally, I stay active with gym workouts, gymnastics, Pilates, yoga, CrossFit, dance, and I follow specific diet plans. But I always make sure to take frequent breaks in between. As a vegetarian, my dietary options are limited, but within those limits, I sometimes push further, and I also allow myself cheat days to maintain balance. I don’t fear for myself, but I want my family to see me healthy and happy, and I do my best to ensure that.”
