MUMBAI: Georges Noverre, the creator of the modern ballet dance form, is celebrated every year on April 29th, which is now recognised as International Dance Day. Dance is an art form that enables people to express their emotions and tell stories through various dance styles. Dancing is also a form of therapy that allows individuals to free themselves. There is no right or wrong way to dance, as it can be enjoyed by simply moving to the beats of the music. On the occasion of International Dance Day, Seerat Kapoor who essays the role of Mannat in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua expressed her love for dance and the importance this art form holds in her life.
Seerat Kapoor, who plays the role of Mannat in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua said*, _“One of my earliest memories of dancing is participating in each and every function and competition in school. Dance was my first love and as a child, I used to perform at all parties and events, my all-time favourite was ‘Kajra re’. Even today dancing makes me feel refreshed and alive. On set, we love to make dance videos not just for posting but for having fun. Me, Yesha and Raymon ma’am love to have a dance party now and then. Whenever I go out, all I care about is dancing to the amazing Bollywood and Punjabi music and it really makes my day.”
