MUMBAI : The television industry recently got the shocking news that Alibaba: Daastan-e- Kabul actress Tunisha Sharma, passed away by committing suicide.
The actress hung herself on the sets of the show. The incident took place in her co-star, Sheezan Mohammed Khan’s makeup room. He essays the role of Alibaba.

The actress played the lead role in the show. As we reported earlier, the lead Sheezan Khan, who was Tunisha’s rumoured partner, was taken into custody on the grounds of abetment to suicide. Tunisha’s mother has filed a complaint and demanded a complete investigation of the case.
Now as per sources, the shooting of the show has been put on hold. The makers might start looking for new lead actors soon. They might replace Sheezan Khan, owing to the legal issues the actor is facing at the moment.
It is a difficult time for the makers, the cast, and the crew. There is no information regarding when they will resume the shoot. Their co-stars have been expressing grief over the sudden news. There is a possibility that the show might only return when the makers cast new actors in the lead roles. This is not confirmed yet, but the speculation is there.
Now, new updates have come in, saying that the show had been shooting for a little while, and they were ahead in the track. So the show and the production has a bank of episodes that they will continue to air, which will star the leads, and the late Tunisha will also be a part of it. But after the bank exhausts, what will happen next has not been made clear.
