MUMBAI: His aura and style can make anyone go weak in the knees. He is someone whose charm is still the same that we saw a decade or maybe two decades ago. He still rules several hearts not just with his acting but also with his dashing looks and fine personality. Yes, we are talking about one of the most talented actors on TV, the web, and in films, Ronit Roy.
Ronit is someone who has established his name in the entertainment world over the years with his hard work and the choice of projects he made so far.
The actor who was away from the small screens is all set to be back once again to spread his charm.
Ronit is set to wow us with his performance in Colors' upcoming show Swaran Ghar.
The show has already created a lot of buzz ever since it was announced.
And now, as Swaran Ghar is just a few days away from its release, viewers can't wait to see the show going on-air.
TellyChakkar got a golden chance to have an exclusive conversation with the charismatic Ronit Roy who spoke about the show and much more.
What are your views on the show's concept?
Swaran Ghar means golden house. All the people living in the house are entitled to have their own point of view and perspective. Everybody has to respect, not necessarily agree to it, and move ahead with togetherness and love. Having said that, my kids are grown up, there is my wife and mother, they will definitely get what the show is all about. We sit and chat about things in my house. I am very keen to see their reaction.
What made you choose this role?
There were many things. The role is fantastic. I could see so much potential in this role. It took us some time to understand that there is a different way to approach this role. The entity of the plot is very relatable to every Indian, especially in Punjab. The story is quite relatable, especially in today's times. It will also apply to the people living out of the country.
What was your first impression of Sangita when you started working together?
We were going to shoot for the promo for two days and she was really unwell on the first day. The second day when she came, we did the two days work in just one day. I was a little bit skeptical as I did not know her well and the role adds a lot of demand from us as actors. I was skeptical as I hadn't met her before, nor we worked before and we didn't even attend any workshops. I did not know how much discomfort would be there from her and my side. But we were bang on with the first shot.
Ronit is paired opposite Sangita Ghosh in the show.
Swaran Ghar will hit the small screens from 28th February.
