MUMBAI: Angad Hasija managed to win several hearts with his recent stint in Sony SAB's show Ziddi Dil Maane Na.
The actor played the negative role of Kundan in the show.
The viewers were in love with Angad's totally different avatar. Angad played Diljot Chhabra aka Sanju's fiance in the show.
Well, Kundan's character gave a hard time to Sanju but finally, his truth was exposed and he was arrested.
Angad had a great journey in the show and his track recently ended.

Your track in Ziddi Dil has come to an end. How has the experience been playing the character of Kundan?
Yes, my track has ended in Ziddi Dil and my experience was just amazing in the show. I have no words to describe how fun it was to work for this show. Sunshine Production house is really amazing. I feel blessed to work with such great people. It's been 15 years since I am in this industry and I have had one of the best experiences working with this production house. I will miss everyone.
How much are you going to miss shooting with the show's star cast? Who would you especially miss from the set?
Everyone is extremely chilled out on the set. We had loads of fun while shooting. I had maximum scenes with Diljot who plays Sanjana in the show. I also had scenes with Kunal who plays Sid. Diljot and I both are Punjabi, so we bonded quite well. During the last days of my shoot, I have almost shot day and night. But I was not cribbing about it because the vibes on the set were great.
The track witnessed a social message where we have seen how human trafficking takes place in our country and it is a sensitive matter. Kundan gets arrested and shown his right place shows how such matters should be immediately reported. What is your take on this?
Kundan's character had many different shades. This was such a grey character that had a lot of layers. When I started off people felt that he is a nice person but slightly snobbish. Then people came to know about his conservative thinking. He was extremely desi. He always thought that girls should always stay at home and they are only meant to get married and have babies. He also gave a message to fans that people in small towns still have this mentality. A girl should always be respected.
Later, his truth was exposed where he used to do human trafficking which was a heinous crime. This happens a lot in small towns. I feel very lucky to get the opportunity to present this with a different character. As an actor, I was very happy and proud to spread a nice message to the viewers.
Well, Angad's presence will be dearly missed in the show.
