MUMBAI: Zee TV has been a trend-setter in shaping television content over the past three decades.

After introducing audiences to several relatable characters who have emerged as the country's most sought-after dinner-table companions and having touched upon a range of subjects close to the hearts of Indian audiences, the channel is all set to introduce two inspiring narratives that are bound to make viewers look at life from a fresh perspective.

Produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, Meet is all set to raise pertinent questions about the roles set aside for the sexes in every Indian household and build a strong case against gender discrimination.

Featuring Shagun Pandey and Ashi Singh, Sharing his excitement of being a part of Meet, he Shagun shared, "My character has been dominant for the longest time now and this character is trying to communicate and is logical with good humour and vibe. I am trying to explore that kind of thing which is something light and also the writing is brilliant so why not.

We are working so hard and you’ll see the results, and even we are exploring this pair."

We asked Shagun about his reaction when he first learnt about Ashi Singh being cast for the role. Shagun said, "I have always heard about her work and we’ve never met or had any conversation but I always knew she is a strong artist and she is very good actor, so we have to alert as the story goes parallel with her.

 Something that I appreciate about Ashi is chill and the moment camera starts rolling if the character doesn’t have to connect with you whole and that’s what I like about her , she is very focused and she does her job in one go."
