MUMBAI: Sony SAB's show Wagle Ki Duniya has become a household name. The show is a light-hearted comedy drama that showcases many relatable incidents that are experienced by a common man on a daily basis.
Wagle Ki Duniya has a stellar star cast, and Deepak Pareek is one of them who is seen in a pivotal role in the show. Deepak is seen playing the role of advocate Dakshesh Joshipura, who is also the society's secretary. The actor's character is quite an interesting one and has its own charm.
Deepak has previously done shows like Teen Bahuraniyaan, Mrs Tendulkar, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai, and Sajan Re Phir Se Jhooth Mat Bolo.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Deepak, who spoke at length about the weirdest food he has had and much more.
What is the weirdest food you’ve had?
I don’t know if this weird but I had once tried Chinese Samosa. I thought that it must be interesting since it’s a samosa, but when I tried it, I didn’t like it at all because there were noodles in it. I come from Rajasthan and I’ve always had good and authentic samosa but this was not something I liked.
What’s your go-to food joint?
I don’t really have something like that, but I love Maharaja Bhog.
Which is your favourite ‘Maa ke haath ka khana’?
I like anything and everything that my mom makes, but I would say ghee roti and daal.
What’s that one dish you love and one dish you hate to cook?
I love eating ‘gatte ki sabzi'. In case of cooking, I don't like it. I hate cooking.
What food you like to have for your midnight craving?
I like having ice-cream.
Are you a chai person or a coffee person?
I’m a chai person.
What’s your favourite cheat meal?
I love sweets.
