MUMBAI: Indian actress and model Donal Bisht is popularly known for the roles of Sharanya in Ek Deewaana Tha and Ishika Patel in Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop. In 2020, she made her online debut with the micro series Tia and Raj. She then was a part of Bigg Boss 15 in 2021.
TellyChakkar recently got in touch with Donal Bisht and got to know some very interesting details about her.
What are you currently doing?
“I have recently completed the shoot for a series called Zakhm which will be released on MX player. The post production work is going on for that series right now. I can’t wait for that to release and for the audience to see me venture into web shows. There are other projects lined up as well. This is a stage for me where I can choose what I want and how I want my career to be. I wish to do content which focuses on women empowerment and in which girls are not there to just beautify the show.”

You were a part of Bigg Boss 15 and we saw that you shared a great bond with a few of the contestants. Do you still keep in touch with any of them?
“I am more focused on my work right now. I had a long schedule for my recent project as well. I am just eagerly waiting for that and concentrating on that. People will get to see a very fresh story through the series and it would be very interesting. So my work is keeping me busy these days.”
What type of content do you look forward to doing?
“The time I started watching content, I started with films. There is always a journey. My ultimate aim is to be on the big screen. I see myself there. I really feel there is a destiny and a path. This is my journey and it started with television, now web and eventually, hopefully, will be a part of films.”
