MUMBAI: Actress Donal Bisht, who has a reputation for her flawless range and strong performances in films like Tu Zakhm Hai and Ek Deewana Tha Roop, has secured an international project with renowned director Andrew Lau, who is best known for directing films like Infernal Affairs and the Young and Dangerous television series. This is an exciting development.
Inspired by a true story, the movie, which is produced by Bona Film Group (renowned for films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), will showcase Donal's range as an actor and Lau's talent for telling gripping, character-driven stories.

Currently filming this movie in China, Donal says she is thrilled about the project: "It's a dream come true to work with Andrew Lau. His films are cinematic and narrative masterpieces. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with a director with such ambition on a global scale. I'm excited to assume a position that will test my abilities and stretch my limits.

"My parents and friends back home got worried when they got to know about the virus spread in China," Donal adds while discussing shooting in China. "But since this was a work commitment, I couldn't postpone it." There are many sanitisation precautions being used here. Fortunately, the majority of the instances have been located far from the area where we are presently filming. I shall go back to India as soon as my schedule concludes in a few days.

With this multinational initiative, Donal, who has established herself in the profession via her performances, will begin a new phase of her career.
Fans are already giddy with anticipation for her global big-screen debut.
