MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Abhimanyu and Akshara are winning hearts with their love.
Aarohi has been one of the most interesting characters in the show, played by Karishma Sawant, the personality of Aarohi is quite strong-headed and has a clear vision of her life. Though her choices sometimes put her into trouble, she is all game for them. We got in touch with the gorgeous Aarohi aka Karishma Sawant to know about her family, acting career and more. How has the bond been offscreen with everyone in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai?
It is wonderful offscreen, we really miss the Udaipur trip that we had. I love this feeling of having a joint family. Being a Mumbaikar, I have a small family with my parents and sister, coming to the show I feel like I am living it with a big family and cousins. I am getting attached to them and I am looking forward to meeting them every day especially Pranali, we are like sisters. Even with Kairav, we call him bhaiya off screens too.
How has been for you to be associated with such a grand show?
I am very grateful for this opportunity, the show has brought me recognition. If people know me is all because of Yeh Rishta and people will surely remember me for this show and the character that I am playing. Yeh Rishta has indeed been a blessing for me and I am grateful for it.
Were you always inclined toward Acting?
I always wanted to become an actor, it wasn't happening, I had given up initially and took up a job as a Flight attendant but this wasn't making me feel happy so I kept trying and my hard work did pay off by bagging Yeh Rishta.
In the upcoming episodes, Akshara calls Abhimanyu again and asks him to meet but Abhi has already decided to meet Kairav, he tries to avoid the question and texts her that he will call her soon after his work is done. Aarohi tells Akshu to ask him what is going on but Akshu says that she completely trusts him.
Akshara and Abhimanyu are enjoying themselves at the Basant Panchami fair when Aarohi finds Anisha too there. She clicks a pic of hers and shows it to Akshara. Later, Neil sees Anisha pushing Kairav. Kairav runs after her and Neil and Abhimanyu follow them.
