MUMBAI: Ekta Saraiya is a visual delight on television.

She plays the role of Dolly in the show and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, we asked her about her experience shooting for the show.

Ekta shared, “This is a show which I can personally relate to and it so far has been very nice playing the character of Dolly in Anupamaa. It is a lovely character and I love the way my character has been developed. Initially, she was very neutral and she was more about focusing on her life and a very practical lady and slowly how her character grows where she can feel for Anupamaa and even goes on to take a stand for her. Dolly was never supposed to be an integral part as she is Vanraj’s sister who is married and has her family of her own but at the same time she has a family of her own in the house too.

If you see now, once Kavya has come into the family, she cannot tolerate that or her behaving badly and also the way she takes a stand when Kavya tries to act smart or put someone down. Dolly takes a stand and talks at the right time.

When asked about her bon with her co-actors, Ekta shared, “My bond is very good with everyone. We have our small fun moments and shares lunches like a small picnic on the sets of the show.”
