MUMBAI: Gashmeer Mahajani is one of the most loved actresses on television.
Gashmeer is a known name in Marathi cinema and films and his entry in Imlie made people fall in love with him and the way he projects his character. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Gashmeer to know about how tables have turned for him and his journey in the industry.
Gashmeer shared, “The journey of Aditya has been so intriguing because the track of the show doesn't gets monotonus. It has several twists and turns so challenges playing Aditya, weren't there as such. With regards to how tables have turned for me, I don't know what do you mean by tables have turned because even today I am shooting for 12 hours or more than that all 30 days of the month.
If you ask me financially or on a personal level then yes, I won't say that the tables have turned. Because you get frustrated sitting at home and not being able to do anything. So this gave me an opportunity to step back on the set and to do what I love doing. Secondly, if you talk about immense popularity then yes it has given me immense popularity but I don't take it seriously because popularity on television is very transitory. Till the time you are seen every evening on the television screens till then you are popular.
The moment some other person replaces the same slot you tend to fade from the memory of people around you. And my mission is to make myself a household name and not Aditya Kumar Tripathi. But that will require a huge body of work then again that will happen in 10 years. And that popularity that you achieve is real popularity.”
Well said Gashmeer! (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE! I barely spoke in Hindi before Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, says Gracy Goswami)
