EXCLUSIVE! 'It was an amazing feeling to recreate "Rasode Mein Kaun Tha" with a new twist with Giaa again', Rupal Patel on recreating the trending scene, preparations and more

MUMBAI: A 2020 meme trend that can almost never be forgotten is here again! Star Bharat’s show Tera Mera Saath Rahe brings back ‘Rasode Mai Kon Tha’ with a new twist.

The iconic Saas- Bahu Jodi has never failed to entertain viewers, what’s even more than iconic is Gopika Bahu and Kokila Modi. Being one of the most loved pairs ever since these two have now reunited with Tera Mera Saath Rahe on Star Bharat. We got in touch with Mithila Modi aka Rupal Patel and asked her about the revamp of the Iconic Scene and its preparations with Giaa Manek again. Here's what she had to say: 

How was it recreating the iconic, the most viral scene with Giaa again?

It was a really happy feeling, with Giaa I share a very strong and beautiful bond since the first season itself. I was indeed exciting to recreate with her as we had done it earlier together. 

Did you add any new inputs for it from your end?

Definitely, Mithila is a new character, and the scene was with other two new characters. So the equation, voice modulation, emotions and performance was according to Mithila's reaction. As she is upset and very angry about the situation of Modak and Momos, I added those different emotions and reactions according to Mithila. It has a different take altogether. I am really thankful that I got this opportunity to recreate this scene.

Can the audience expect more of those viral scenes to be re-created in the show?

I am soo blessed that whatever I do gets loved by the audience, they make it viral. It is my dream that definitely more such scenes should get viral and get the same amount of love from the viewers. I take this opportunity to thank the whole team, Ved RajJi for giving me this chance to be a part of such an interesting show.
