Exclusive: Karan Mehat roped in for Colors’ Choti Sarrdaarni

Aap Ke Aa Jane Se fame Karan Mehat joins the cast of Colors’ Choti Sarrdaarni.

MUMBAI: Colors’ Choti Sarrdaarni is among the most popular shows on TV. The leads of the daily soap, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Mahir Pandhi, recently opted out of the show, which will lead to a major twist in the plot.

Amandeep Sidhu will play the new female lead. Gaurav S Bajaj has been roped in as the male lead in the show.

As per the latest development, TellyChakkar has learnt that the makers have roped in Karan Mehat, who has been a part of shows like Aap Ke Aa Jane Se and Udaan. He will play the role of the male lead’s father in the show.

We could not get through to him for a comment.

Choti Sarrdaarni is produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar under their banner Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment. They also bankroll popular shows like Kaamna on Sony TV, and Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus.
