MUMBAI: Punyashlok Ahilyabai is set in the backdrop of the 18th century time period. The actors are required to do extensive research and preparations in order to do justice to the historical characters they portray on-screen.

The show is all set to witness a leap of seven years, it was earlier updated that Aetasha Sansgiri will be playing the character of Ahilyabai post the leap.

Now, TellyChakkar has been exclusively informed that Radha Krishn fame Kinshuk Vaidya will play the lead role in the show post the leap. He will be the grown-up Khanderao.

We had last seen Kinshuk Vaidya in the role of Arjuna in Radha Krishn. The dapper is back with yet another historical show.
