MUMBAI: Colors is all set to roll out a new show Spy Bahu starring Sana Sayyad and Sehban Azim in the lead roles. The story of Spy Bahu is lead-centric and will depict the love story of a detective and a terror-suspect.
Spy Bahu is bankrolled by Ashvini Yardi under her production house Viniyard Productions.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Sana Sayyad, who was last seen in Divya Drishti. She talks about her role, the show, and more...
Is this role a good opportunity? “Yes, Sejal is a very relatable character. You'll fall in love with her clumsiness and timid behaviour.”
Is there any kind of pressure due to your previous character? “There's always been that nervousness, and that will always be there. I'm not self-doubting my ability to act but justifying my current character not being like my previous character.”

How was it romancing each other? “I never did any romantic scenes in the beginning of the show. And Sejal has never been in love with someone apart from her friends and family. I think two actors have already interacted so much that it flows organically. In fact, our first look test was a romantic scene with each other. Sehban as a co-actor has never made me awkward. We laugh and eat together, so it made a lot of difference.”
Since Kareena Kapoor is promoting your show, how do you feel about it? “It's a big deal! When I came to know that she's narrating our story, I was jumping out of excitement.”
