MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is working wonders on the small screens. 

The show has been successfully running for several years and fans have constantly showered this popular drama series with love and praises. 

Rajan Shahi's show has left no stone unturned to keep the viewers hooked to the TV screens. 

We all know that a lot has been going on in Kartik and Sirat's life lately.

Sirat is now married to Ranveer but it seems she is not able to distance herself from the Goenka family, especially Kartik.  

Well, Kartik and Sirat's relationship has gone through a lot over the time. 

The other characters of the show are also being lauded for their stellar performance on the show. Actors like Harsha Khandeparkar, Simran Khanna, Swati Chitnis, Shilpa Raizada among others are seen in important roles. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shilpa Raizada who plays the role of Surekha Goenka on the show.   

When we asked her what she expects from her role in the future track, Shilpa said, ''I would like it if my character Surekha has more clarity and authority.'' 

Shilpa's character has been extremely subtle in the show but she does play a major role. 

The actress also further opened up about her bond with Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi and said that they are really great actors and very well-behaved and that they have never shown any starry tantrums on the set. 

Well, viewers would definitely love to see some changes in Shilpa aka Surekha's role on the show.
