We got in touch with Swati Rajput to know about her inspiration, bond with Ankit and Manasi and more, check out what she had to share:

Have you taken any particular inspiration for your character? If yes, then tell us why and how has it helped you portray your character?

I am a movie buff, be it Indian cinema or western, I love everything about cinema, especially the art of filmmaking, dialogues and cinematography. I admire the works of Smita Patil, Shabana Azmi, Deepti Naval and Meryl Streep. So watching their work has always inspired me to work better and find new aspects of the character and connect with the audience on an emotional level.

Tell us about the bond you share with your co-star Ankit?

Ankit is the sweet-natured, fun-loving guy. I appreciate Ankit as an actor being present. It makes the scene even more powerful. We both bring our own craft and have a discussion before every scene. We are always up to try new things, to hear each other and respond to what’s happening at the moment, in the scene. There has been a sense of trust on set.

Tell us about the bond you share with your co-star Manasi Joshi Roy?

Manasi Ma’am is a lovely co-actor and a beautiful human being. We have shot just one small sequence so far. But we connect a lot with art and books.

What makes this show different from other shows?

Story and the execution. It has a deep plot, steering emotions, captivating characters. It consists of lines that can resonate with the audience, stick with them and earn a special place in their heart.
