The cast left no stone unturned to portray the dreadful partition like a living memoir. If Amdheer’s love was a soothing breeze in the heat of history, Vashmay's relationship had been the new air of change.

It was exclusively updated that the show is soon to bid adieu to their fans. Two iconic jodis from the show Amdheer and Vashmay would be dearly missed by the fans. We rang Shagun and Anchal to know what they had to say about their journey in the show.

Shagun said, "The journey has been absolutely amazing, I got to do something very real from the pre-partition era with great writing. Usually, as an actor, we don't get to play subtle, that I learnt on this show. It has indeed been a learning arc. All the scenes with Uday and Vashma will be dearly missed and they shall always stay with me.”

Talking about his favourite scene, he said, "When Vashma gets married to Farooq and goes away from Uday and the transformation he goes through due to separation. Uday turns from a boy into a man. It was indeed a turning point for both Uday and Vashma. This scene would probably be the most favourite scene of mine."

Anchal said, "I am very emotional right now, as this was my first show as the lead. I will cherish every memory of Vashma, she is very close to my heart. She has taught me to be brave, strong. I have learnt a lot from her. I was one of the pampered ones on the show. I will miss Uday (Shagun), he used to take care of me a lot, help me with my performance, those little nuances and bond. The story ends but the character lives in you forever."

Talking about her favourite scene, "Each and every scene has left a huge impact on me. The show itself was very emotional for me. I have learnt a lot from the show. The directors, creatives, and makers everyone made this show so successful."
