TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her
Who are you close to on the sets of the movie?
I made a lot of friends on set. Mr. Anil Rastogi ji and his wife reminded me of my parents. As I was away from them, and some days I used to miss them, Anil ji and his wife made me feel at home. I also shared a few stories with Aditya Lakhiya ji. He’s very honest and down-to-earth. I've never seen a man with so much patience.
How did you bag this role? Did you do an audition or got a call from the production? What was the process like?
I got wind of this project from Mr. Subhash Ghai. One day, I received a call from his office saying that one of his director friends was looking for a girl for his next film. I received an audition script the same day, and I auditioned for the role of Basabhdutta. The next day, I had my first meeting with the director, and there he confirmed that the role was mine. All of this happened in the span of three days, and a week later, I was on set.
Well, there is no doubt Falaq Rahi's character was appreciated by the audience and fans.
