Fans compare Kasautii Zindagii Kay to KKHH; Ekta Kapoor can’t stop laughing at the parody

MUMBAI: Famous serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay's reboot version premiered two days ago and has received a positive response from fans and audiences. Parth Samthaan plays Anurag, and Erica Fernandes essays the role of Prerna. Hina Khan, who will play Komolika, will join the cast next month.

Since the announcement of the reboot, there was a lot of curiosity among people, and fans began to make funny videos and photos of the serial. Ekta Kapoor came across one such video and shared it on her social media.

The video showcases a famous scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in which Kajol's dupatta flies away and ends up on SRK. The scene is similar to the promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. In fact, the Badshah of Bollywood was roped in to introduce the characters for the first time.

Ekta and the channel left no stone unturned with regard to marketing Kasautii—from playing games, placing the iconic statue of Kasautii at all metro cities, teasing fans with her secrecy about Komolika's casting. The serial airs from Monday to Friday at 8: 30 PM on Star Plus.
