Gaurav Chopra to exit from Uttaran

It looks like luck is smiling on FilmFarms' Uttaran aired on Colors. The series got the highest TRPs this week amongst all the Colors shows, gaining the position of Balika Vadu, which had been ruling the charts for quite some time now. In fact, the daily saw a rise in its numbers despite its lead actors Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu being away from the show. And now the audiences are advised to gear up for some drama as Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore played by Gaurav Chopra will make an exit in the future episodes. Incidentally, Rathore will come to know that Pushkar and Naani were involved in swapping his daughter with Ichcha's son and he will decide to teach them a lesson. A source close to the show informed us, “Gaurav Chopra's character will be brought to an end after he decides to move out of the city. Gaurav will shoot for his last episode tomorrow February 25, 2012.” The source also revealed that Gaurav has shot for some action scenes and his track will come to an end within the next 10 days. However, this will be a temporary exit and his character might be brought back in a couple of months. When Tellychakkar.com contacted Gaurav Chopra, he confirmed the news: “Yes, I am temporarily taking an exit from the show. But I can't comment on it at the moment.” A source close to Gaurav also informs that Gaurav has bagged a Hindi film and he will be leaving for a forty days shooting schedule of the film on February 27, 2012.
