Star One will soon be launching a new show produced by a new production house Creative Canvas Entertainment. A gag-based show it is a re-packaging of all the seasons of Laughter Challenge. The show is named Laugh India Laugh.
Gera and Grover who have earlier hosted Star One’s Hans Baliye together are roped in again by the channel. A source informs that the gags will be linked to the video-clippings and related images. The show will revolve around the anchors alone and will not include any celebrities or commoners.
Says the source, “The two have already started the shoot and the concept has been approved by the channel. The show is likely to air in mid-November on Sundays and is slated for a morning slot.”
Nikhil Mirchandani, EVP Star One, confirmed the news, “Yes we are coming up with a new show but cannot speak much on this now.”
Our efforts to reach Parag Vijra of Creative Canvas remained futile. Gera and Grover confirmed the news but refused to divulge any further details.
