Met with an accident while shooting the recent chase sequence for #ishqmeinmarjawan It was a massive fall right on my head, miraculous escape infact, what saved me was the #helmet . If i wasn't wearing the helmet i wonder what would have happened to me. #jakorakhesaiyanmarsakenaakoi I insist, please wear your helmet always. It can save you life. I feel fortunate and blessed to be good enough to upload this, though i am recovering from various physical injuries, i could still get up and finish the entire day's schedule, and now waiting for my head #ctscan reports to rule out any internal injuries, i m sure i am clear, by the grace of God. #thankgod DO NOT FORGET TO WEAR YOUR HELMET #ishqmeinmarjawan #virat @colorstv #wearhelmet #ridesafe Shot with @gopro #gopro

In a chat with TellyChakkar, Vineet shared, ‘It was a near-death accident for me. Thankfully, I was wearing a helmet while riding and I did not get any severe head injury. I have hurt my elbow and knee. I would just say that God saved me. In spite of meeting with an accident, I shot the entire sequence, as it was an important scene for the show. After my shoot got over, I got a CT scan and few tests done to examine if there is any inner injury. My neurosurgeon has advised me to avoid shooting action sequences, running, exercising, or performing any kind of activities for few weeks.’

He added, ‘I want to urge everyone to please wear a helmet while riding, because it is meant for our safety. Don’t take such precautions lightly, as accidents do not come with statutory warnings.’
