Golden Globe 2012 TV nominations: New shows score over old ones

The Hollywood Press Association announced the nominations for its 2012 edition of the Golden Globe Awards. And there were quite a few new shows being nominated while older shows also managed to get snagged for a nomination. Amongst the new series nominated are <em>Homeland</em>, which received nominations for drama series, best actress (Claire Danes) and best actor (Damian Lewis). <em>Game of Thrones, New Girl</em> and <em>American Horror Story</em> are among the other new shows which have got nominations.
