MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
Naagin’s spin-off Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang has been making a lot of heads turn with the mystery and thrill quotient that the show holds. (Read here: We connected instantly: Harsh Rajput on bond with Krishna Mukherjee )
Actors Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee will be seen in the show as the lead couple.
Harsh is set to play the character of a vampire in the show. The actor played a supernatural character in his last popular show Nazar for Star Plus’.
When asked if playing a similar kind of role consecutively for the second time would typecast him, Harsh said, “I don’t believe in and agree with the same. At this phase, where digital medium is blooming and is at its peak, actors have a pool of variety to choose and perform. Several mediums are now open for actors, and if an actor does one kind of role on one medium, he can do other variations for another medium. Thus, I believe the entire concept of being ‘type-cast’ is slowing disappearing from the industry."
Kuch Toh Hai - Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein has hit the tube from 7 February at 8 PM.
