The pretty and sexy Payal Rohatgi is also a fitness freak. And sensing her keen interest in health and food, the Gujarat government has signed the lady as its brand ambassador to promote the use of organic food. And she is more than happy to take up the project, as she goes on to share her thoughts with Tellychakkar.com, “The Gujarat government is very keen to promote the use of organic food. Since I belong to Ahmedabad and have my family in the region, they chose me to spread the message to the world. Also, with me being in the entertainment industry, it’s easier to reach out to a larger audience and talk about such an important issue,” she said. “It is a year-long contract where I will be attending events and making appearances on various platforms to spread the word of usage of organic food. Also with me knowing a lot of important people in Gujarat, I will be adding on to the cause through it,” she added. So how much does she believe in the usage of organic food, we asked. “I have always believed in eating healthy food and as an actor you tend to pick on good food habits. Also with Sangram ji (Singh) coming in my life, he has brought in so much of goodness along with a lot of good habits (laughs). Even in Mumbai, we try to consume organic food which is natural and without insecticide,” Payal observed. And how excited is she to be a part of this cause? “I have always believed that one needs to work and give back something to the society. Both fame and money are temporary and if we can use our means to help the world, we should always be game for it. Also people need to come out of the vicious circle and take up good habits in life. And if I can create a bit of awareness, I’ll be more than obliged,” she maintained. Well Payal, it surely is a noble thought!
