Beyond Dreams Productions’ popular running show Veera on Star Plus completed 200 episodes yesterday (31 July 2013). Hence, we planned to contact Samiksha Bhatnagar aka Gurpreet. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com the actress spoke about her journey and attachment with the show. “It has been a wonderful journey till now in Veera. I started with a character of a newlywed and happily married woman, who later went on to face a lot of problems like not being able to experience motherhood, her husband falling for another woman, etc. As an actor I’ve learnt and played so many variations and have also been appreciated,” says Samiksha. “When I look at completing 200 episodes, it’s a great achievement not just for me but also for the entire team of Veera. Kudos to our unit as all of us worked tirelessly to achieve recognition and high regards in a very less time. The show has also won awards in almost all major award functions. And I am proud to be a part of the Veera team,” Samiksha adds. Talking about the love and appreciation she has received for this serial, she states, “As Gurpreet, I have received lots of love from the audiences; they keep messaging and mailing me. My friends in the industry also keep appreciating me,” she observes. Furthermore she wishes that her show completes 1000 plus episodes. “I m sure we will complete 1000 plus episodes with the same response and a more enhanced viewer experience,” Samiksha maintains. What’s next for her in the track? “In the coming days, the audience will get to see a new image of Gurpreet and I'm looking forward to it,” she reveals. We’d be waiting to see you impatiently in a new image Samiksha!!!
