MUMBAI: The news of Bigg Boss 18's Kashish Kapoor losing 7 lac rupees in a house robbery spread like a wildfire. A lot of questions were raised and victim blaming took place on social media. This prompted Kashish to make a full fledged video on her YouTube channel wherein she spoke at length about what exactly happened on the day of the robbery.
In the video, Kashish narrated the entire incident and mentioned that she had 7 lac cash which she was supposed to deposit in her mothers account on 9th July and on 10th July she was supposed to fly to Singapore for work.
She said, "I opened the drawer and saw the envelope of money empty. This left me shocked. The house help was about to leave the house and I asked him to come back. When enquired, he started panicking. While he tried to bluff, I saw a cad of 50,000 falling from his pocket. I asked him to give the rest of my money but he started making up stories and denied taking any more money, which is not possible because the entire amount was kept in the same envelope. When I told him that I'd complain to the Police, he pinned me against the wall and asked me not to do the same. In that situation, it was important for me to save myself. I told him I won't complain and he let go of me. I asked him to leave."
"The moment he left, I tried to stop him. I called the guards to shut the gates but it was too late by then and he had left the building. I called him and asked him to come back to the building and called the cops. He did and I got him arrested. However, the cops clearly told me that there's no guarantee that I will get the money back", she said.
