MUMBAI: Zee TV recently presented a heart-warming story that captures the essence of the ever-evolving dynamics of the saas-bahu relationship in Indian society. Titled Hamariwali Good News, the show presents a unique role reversal between the daughter-in-law Navya (Srishti Jain) and her mother-in-law Renuka (Juhi Parmar) to give their family the much awaited ‘Good News.’ Versatile actress Juhi Parmar plays the role of Renuka in the show, who is the mother-in-law and the lifeline of the Tiwari family. Shakti Anand, on the other hand, is seen essaying the pivotal character of Mukund, who is Renuka’s husband and Navya’s father-in-law. A grocery shop owner, known for being a miser, he follows the motto of, 'Jaisa chal raha hai badiya hai, what is the need for change?’
Recently, Hamariwali Good News had seen the explosive entry of Manish Goel as Dr. Raghav. His past equation with Renuka took the Tiwaris by storm, leaving both Renuka and Mukund at loggerheads. While the drama ended with Raghav clarifying once and for all that he has moved on, new twists in Renuka and Mukund’s life have kept the audience on the edge of their seat. While Manish Goel has left the show just a couple of days back, her good friend and co-star Juhi Parmar seems to be reminiscing their bond and missing him, especially during lunch-time.

Juhi Parmar who plays the role of Renuka in the show reveals, “Manish and I have grown together as actors and he’s a very good friend. When I heard he was also going to be a part of Hamariwali Good News, I was really happy as we share a great rapport. In fact, prior to him joining the show, I used to eat lunch by myself in my vanity. However, after he started shooting with us, we used to eat lunch together from the very first day. We go long back and while we couldn’t connect much throughout the day due to our packed schedule, we used to have a good long chat over lunch. In fact, our families know each other well too, so my Mom used to send the food items that he likes and his wife, Poonam, used to send things that I love. So, we used to exchange our tiffins and have a good, fun chit-chat session. Be it personal or professional, we had a lot of things to talk about and it was fun having him on the set of Hamariwali Good News. ”
