Here’s why Param Singh is not ready to settle down at the moment

In an interview, the Ishk Par Zor Nahi actor Param Singh spoke about his personal life, lockdown days, and much more. Read on.

MUMBAI: Param Singh is one of the most popular television actors. In an interview, the Ishk Par Zor Nahi actor spoke about his personal life, lockdown days, and much more. Read on.

The actor believes that lockdown brought with it many challenges, but it also gave time to introspect and learn new skills. “The lockdown and the period after that certainly gave me a lot of time to pick up new skills and plan my future in a better manner. I tried to learn Spanish and hone my cooking skills though they were very unsuccessful attempts. I also did a lot of meditation and reading. I watched classic movies, too,” Param shared with Times Of India, and added, “It gave me a lot of time to introspect, and gave me a sense of clarity about my future.”

Along with juggling household chores, learning new skills and working on himself, the actor also started writing short stories. “I started putting down my thoughts every day and weaving small stories around them.” Does he plan to publish any of it? He said, “I am working on it and giving it finishing touches.”

The actor, who was last seen in Haiwaan: The Monster and is now back on TV with Ishk Par Zor Nahi, feels that very often new subjects just don’t work on TV. He says, “It’s not that show makers don’t want to experiment, but often these are not received well by the audience. There’s a mass audience for TV and we make shows for them. However, we are taking baby steps when it comes to experimental content and it’s a good beginning.”

Talking about his personal life, Param said, “Even when it comes to relationships or settling down, I do follow the ‘never say never’ funda (laughs!). But at the moment, I don’t think I’m ready to settle down or get in a relationship. Being in a relationship requires a lot of time and nurturing. Right now, my concentration and focus is solely on my work.”
