MUMBAI: Star Plus show Anupamaa has struck all the right chords with the audience and is one of the most-watched shows on Indian television currently.
The show comprises a talented cast in the likes of Arvind Vaidya, Alpana Buch, Sudhanshu Pandey, Rupali Ganguly, Paras Kalnawat, Paritosh Tripathi, Anagha Bhosle and others. Amongst them, Rupali happens to celebrate her birthday today.
The actress was recently tested coid-19 positive and is taking rest under a quarantine period. In conversation with a media portal, Rupali had mentioned that she had actually applied for leave on my birthday which falls on April 5 and the next day so that she could enjoy some quality time with her family, especially with her son, husband and mother. However, now she will now have a rather quiet celebration.
In conversation with Alpana, the actress shared how she misses shooting with Rupali.
Alpana shared, “I miss shooting with Rupali. If she had been here, the environment would have been something else altogether now. I hope to see her soon and when she comes back we will celebrate her birthday. I hope she gets the best of what she wants in life and her career, specially her dream to make an animal shelter.”
We wish Rupali a blessed birthday and pray for her speedy recovery.
Anupamaa premiered on 13 July 2020 on Star Plus. Produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under Director's Kut Productions, it stars Rupali Ganguly in the titular role. It is based on Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee.
