MUMBAI: After making a place for herself in the television world, Radhika Madan has stepped into the world of cinema. She made her debut in Bollywood with the comedy drama Pataakha alongside Sanya Malhotra and later appeared in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Now, she is geared up for her next film.

The actress next will be seen alongside none other than Irrfan Khan and Kareen Kapoor in Angrezi Medium. Helmed by Homi Adajania, it is the sequel to the film Hindi Medium. Radhika plays the role of Irrfan Khan's daughter in the film. Earlier it was reported that Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan was likely to be cast for the role. However, later it was announced that Radhika bagged the role in the film. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Radhika hinted about the same. Talking about nepotism in the industry, the actress revealed how she wasn't willing to give up a role in a film which was going to a star kid.

Radhika revealed that a producer of a film told her that he is giving the role to so and so's daughter. However, she wanted to work on that project and was very adherent to it. The actress requested to take her audition multiple times and then finally she gave the audition and bagged the role. When she was quizzed whether the film was Angrezi Medium, the actress replied by saying she don't know.
