Actor Nitesh Pandey, who was earlier part of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai, is now playing a super-cool dad of the lead girl Sanchi on Sony Entertainment Television’s Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka.
The actor, who has acted in many Barjatya’s shows and movies, says that he loves being a part of their series.
“I was waiting for Barjatyas to come up with a new show. Though I did few other things, I am happy that I am a part of Ek Rishta... The production house has pampered me so much that I love being here,” said Nitesh.
Talking about his character, he shared, “The production people were confused about which character to give me, Diwakar or Virendra. But I selected Virendra and made their decision easier.”
When asked about his off-screen bond with his co-star, he said, “We all bond really well. Sonal and I play siblings on the show, but were couple on Hum Ladkiyan. When we got a brief of the characters, we were amused. I told her that she was aging as she was playing my elder sister.”
Lastly, talking about having fun on the sets, Nitesh quipped, “We are like a big family off-screen too. I am a prankster on sets, so every co-star is scared of me.”
