I don't want Payal to watch my death match - Sangram Singh

Sangram Singh

Sangram Singh is prepping up and how for his upcoming last man standing match to be held in Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship on February 28th in Port Elizabeth. The scary part of the match is the death contract that Sangram has signed which essentially means no one can be held responsible in case of any casualties cause to the wrestlers during the match. The match will continue and as the name suggests the wrestler who will be able to stand on his feet and vanquish the other will be declared winner.

Speaking about it, Sangram says, “Yes, I have signed the death contract. I had thought about it for a while but then as a wrestler you can’t be scared and say no. “

The real motivation behind signing up for this match is the substantial amount of prize money that Sangram would receive if he emerges winner in the game. However, if you think Sangram wants to grow plain rich with the money, you are wrong. The beefy man plans to use the money to help other wrestlers from poor family and help them get maximum benefits. Pointing out how wrestlers normally come from poor families, Sangram says, “In India, wrestling is not a sport associated with the richie rich. You will hardly see any boy from a rich family getting into wrestling. The sport usually attracts poor boys. So I want to use this money to help them in getting access to better facilities that will help them in becoming better wrestlers.”

Sangram’s opponent in the match will be the fiery Canadian wrestler, Joe Legend. And given the brutality that would be involved in the match, Sangram doesn’t want his ladylove, Payal Rohatgi to be watching it ever. “I would not want Payal to watch the match because I don’t think she can ever take or bear it. I am not taking her with me as well.”

Well, let’s hope Sangram emerges victorious in this match.
