“I have seen Asha Ji having a green chilli right before her performance,” reveals Alka Yagnik on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs has been winning over everyone’s heart courtesy the amazing performances by the wonderful contestants that are a part of the show. After celebrating the 80’s era along with Bollywood stars like Amol Palekar, Annu Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor, the popular reality show is now one step closer to the finale and in the next episode, we will see the dazzling chef, Ranveer Brar, as a special guest on the show. In the upcoming episode, while the contestants will leave everyone mesmerised with their iconic performances, Ranveer will also be seen revealing some interesting and delicious recipes in this ‘Khana aur Gaana’ special episode.

In fact, during the show, while Madhav Arora’s performance to Ishq-E-Di Chaashni from Bharat movie left the judges and jury members amazed, India's favourite chef Ranveer Brar revealed how human body gets accustomed to food items from a very young age and those food items never negatively affect one’s body later on. This led to a conversation where Ranveer and the judges started discussing how one should eat everything and that's when Alka Yagnik revealed how she never had ice cream during her childhood.  However, once she started having it as an adult it never worked out for her. She said, “Indeed, it is true that if one starts having something suddenly, especially things that they’re not accustomed to, it has a bad effect on the body and health of the person. As a child I never had ice cream. But when I grew up and eventually had ice cream, my body could not take it. They never really worked for me and while humans are slave to their habits, I feel one should always focus on building a strong body and immune system.”

Furthermore, Alka Yagnik shared an interesting anecdote about legendary singer, Asha Bhosle. She shared, “I have always seen Asha Ji having a green chilli right before her performance. Her logic behind it was that the chilli helped her with ‘Karari’ voice during her performance. Things like these depend from person to person.”

Apart from Alka ji's revelations, the upcoming episode of the show will see Ranveer Brar sharing some delicious recipes with the viewers and the contestants delivering some ‘yummy’ and ‘masaledaar’ performances. While Saksham Sonawane will give a peppy performance on Aao sikhaon tumhe ande ka fanda, Aryananda’s melodious voice to the tunes of Cheeni Kam Hai will surely make everyone's hearts melt. All in all, the upcoming episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will have a lot of melodies, recipes and surprises for the viewers.
