I will play the game like a game: Nishant Singh Malkhani on 'Bigg Boss'

MUMBAI: The most popular yet controversial reality show "Bigg Boss" is back on the telly with a new season and new contestants. "Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega" actor Nishant Singh Malkhani has also entered the show as a participant and said that he will play it like a game with a true sportsman spirit.

He said. "I think it's a game and I want to win it. And to win that I will play the game like a game. And also I will just keep reminding myself that whatever happens with me is all a part of the game, that's what 'Bigg Boss' is all about, we have to play a game but with real emotions. Everyone should aim to win the game and that should be their first motive of entering the house."

The actor revealed that he always thought the show is controversial but took it up this year because his last show "Guddan..." was taking a leap and he had some free time in hand.

"I always felt that 'Bigg Boss' is a very controversial show. And I never thought of doing it. But co-incidentally, my show 'Guddan...' was taking a leap and I was free, and around the same time, the show and the channel wanted to sign me. So, I said yes. I know that I was a part of a popular show on Zee TV which has a massive and loyal fan following and I guess they will be my biggest strength and support while I am in the house. I guess the audience and I will get to know the real Nishant who will do everything organically and purely," he said.

The "Ram Milaayi Jodi" actor shared that his family is an ardent follower of 'Bigg Boss' and were super excited about him participating in the show. He said that he keeps talking to them frequently during the day, and will miss it while he is in the house.

"I will be missing my loved ones the most. I think everything else is materialistic, some of which I will get inside the 'Bigg Boss' house, and even if I don't then I will get it after three-four months. But that's not important for me at all, I talk to my loved ones daily, I talk to them ten times a day, I think I will be missing that the most," he said.

And is there a lucky charm that you are carrying with you? "I wear a pendant and it's my lucky stone. So I will be wearing this too in the 'Bigg Boss' house. I am a Shri Ram bhakt and whenever I am praying I put this stone next to him and then offer my prayers. I feel that Shri Ram and the stone are the same energy for me. And I feel if this is with me then no negative energy can ever harm me," Nishant signed off.

"Bigg Boss 14", hosted by Salman Khan, airs on Colors.
