I would love to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa next - Sara Khan

The beautiful and petite Sara Khan, who has the charm to attract news instantly, will be seen in a very glamorous avatar in the coming episodes of Encounter, the series by Endemol on Sony Entertainment Television. The three-week episode of the show that comprises of real-life inspired stories of gangsters projected will see Sara playing two very different shades. Talking about her character, Sara shares, “I play Ayesha, a young simple girl who falls in love with a man (Ravi Gossain) not knowing that he is a gangster. But after marriage, her life falls apart when her husband gets killed in a gang war and she finds out the truth about her partner. This is when Ayesha’s real strong self comes to the fore.” “Instead of weeping for her life, Ayesha will transform herself into a gangster and pledge to take revenge of her husband’s death. Her enemy will be a dangerous mafia leader that has been inspired by Dawood Ibrahim’s character. Being a woman, how she manages to fight her battle alone, will be for the viewers to see,” observes Sara. Though the actor might look frail and thin, but action sequence really excites her, as she adds, “I just loved the transition I had from a simple and sophisticated girl to a glamorous gangster. Overall it was a very exciting experience and I really enjoyed shooting for the show. Such short series actually gives one a chance to portray varied shades in a short time.” Her film will also release shortly and talking about it she quips, “I am in talks with a few other makers; let’s see how things work out. But for now I am really keen on doing something like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and want to see how I fare in dancing sans all the drama (laughs) of acting.” We hope the makers of the show are reading this!
