I wouldn't mind if I find love in the Bigg Boss house: Sofia Hayat

Just when you wonder if the show Bigg Boss (Colors) has any more surprises to offer, out springs London-based model-actress Sofia Hayat. Jet-lagged and ready trying to catch her breath Sofia said, “I was shooting in London. On Wednesday they asked me if I could come to Mumbai on Friday to be part of Bigg Boss. I said it was out of the question. Then they asked if I could be here by Monday. So I finished packed my bags and left and here I am. I feel my life has been hit by a tornado.” Sofia keeps flying into India. “India is where my roots are. I was born in India. For the last two years I’ve been here frequently because I was shooting a film entitled Diary Of Butterfly. Then I did another film Nachle London. I also did two television shows. So everything kind of happened in a tumble. Then I went back to England to do project with the BBC. Then another in England with E4. And now I was planning to take a break as I had been working non-stop. I wanted to go to Argentina to play polo. Instead I am here for Bigg Boss.” Sofia is oblivious of the goings on inside Bigg Boss. “I don’t know what to expect in there and I really don’t know if anything is expected from me. I mean, I hardly had time to think about it. Bigg Boss is something everybody would like to do, although they may be too scared to do it. I was actually scared. It was something I never thought I could do. Even now I am not too sure I can pull it off. I had the guts to say yes. Now let’s see I’ve the guts to go through it.” Sofia would try to be herself on Bigg Boss. “I do know that the way a celebrity’s life is in public is very different from her personal life. People think I am one of the sexiest women in the world. I don’t see myself that way. If people think that way about me, I am happy. But I don’t look at myself in the mirror in the morning and say, ‘God, she’s hot!’.” Inside the house Sofia would want to live up to her own image of self rather than the way the world sees her. “I am going to go in there to be myself. However if you have people perpetually provoking you, you are bound to react. In my everyday life if someone shouted at me I’d walk away. But I can’t do that in Bigg Boss. I’d have to defend myself.” Sofia has taken all of 3 months off. “It was time to go to Argentina and spend time with friends during Christmas. On Monday I was to attend an event in London I was really looking forward to. I gave away the tickets to the lady at the counter at the airport just before I boarded. So I am carrying my good karma to Bigg Boss. Beyond that, who knows about tomorrow? I like to live every day as it comes. I am very grateful for the gift of life. I lost a cousin to cancer. And she was only 22.” Furthermore, we tell her that a lot of inmates seem to have found their soul mates in the house so does she feel she’ll find one too? “Well I recently dumped my last boyfriend hence, I am very much single. So, I wouldn’t mind if love happens in the house but, I’d like to be hooked on to Salman (Khan). I love his personality.” Lastly, talking about the prize money she states, “If I happen to win the show I will give fifty percent of my money to an NGO that helps women to lead a normal life who were forced into prostitution.” All the best, Sofia!!!
