MUMBAI: Actress Mayuri Deshmukh, who’s currently seen in the lead role in the hit television show, Imlie, opens up on all the things that helped her become a better actor. While Imlie is the first Hindi project that Mayuri is a part of, the actress is being highly appreciated for her performance.
Talking about how Yoga techniques helped the pretty actress polish her acting skills, she says, “Breath is everything; whether it’s life or acting. When you’re acting, you’re doing nothing but emulating life. In the beginning of my journey, I would rush and fumble through my dialogues. I knew that this had to do with breath, and for that, Pranayam and Yoga really helps. I might sound old-fashioned, but Pranayam really increases your lung capacity. With the help of Pranayam, it’s possible to deliver lengthy dialogues with ease”.
