India’s Dancing Superstar is a great learning experience - Aishwarya Sakhuja

Aishwarya Sakhuja
The very pretty Aishwarya Sakhuja who is currently hosting India’s Dancing Superstar (BBC Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd) on Star Plus is kicked about the quality of talent this show brings. The actor who has joined the bandwagon of actor-turned-host with this big-ticket reality show is really enjoying this new phase. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Aishwarya to dig deep into the actor’s life, and talk to her about what she plans to do next. “Currently I am really having fun hosting IDS. The experience is brilliant, as I am getting to learn so much every day; it’s like being in school all over again. The talent these people have is commendable,” averred Aishwarya. The actor who had also hosted Nach Baliye Shriman V/S Shrimati, feels anchoring a show with normal participants is very different from a show with celebrities. “When you have a celebrity on the show, there is not much a host has to do, as the entertainment quotient is taken care by them. But with common people, you have to do so much, make them talk, keep their spirits high and then act as a bridge between the judges and them.” Aishwarya who has tasted success as host of dance reality shows would not mind participating in one now. “With so much dance happening around me, the bug has caught on me badly, and if given a chance I would love to participate in a dance show like Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa.” When asked whether reality shows like Bigg Boss would interest her, she went on to say, “I do not think I am mentally and emotionally ready to do something like Bigg Boss. Having to spend so much time without family and my daily dose of books and movies, is unimaginable to me.” The girl who has a keen eye for dance shows stated, “I also spend time watching dance shows, both Indian and international to make my work easier and better.” For Aishwarya, watching movies is a passion. “I last watched Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, and plan to catch up with more movies in the coming week.” Sounding happy about the arrival of monsoon in Mumbai, she quipped saying, “It’s so much fun. It is even a hard task walking to the set from my vanity, with three people holding umbrellas to keep me dry. The rain does cause delay, but I love it.” Talking about her future projects, Aishwarya said, “I am very bad at multitasking, and want to do one project at a time.” About reports of her being a part of Saas Bina Sasural Season 2, she averred, “I do not really know much about it, so cannot comment more on it.” Working in films is also on the cards, although she has not finalised anything. She told us, “I want to do something that is fair and just in terms of content and screen time. I am surely looking for something on the big screen as a lead.” We wish this confident and talented girl a great future ahead!!!
