MUMBAI: There are a lot of TV actors who have gained a lot of fame and caught the eye of people in the movie industry. There are TV actors who wish to explore the Bollywood industry and there are some who wish to stay in the TV industry itself.
Here are a few actors from the TV industry who rejected offers from the film industry:
Kapil Sharma
This comedian of the Indian TV industry has already been part of Bollywood movies. He refused a role in the film Bank Chor under the Yash Raj banner.
Ankita Lokhande
The actress rejected several projects while she was doing Zee TV’s popular show Pavitra Rishta. She later made her debut through the film Manikarnika.
Karan Tacker
He is one of the most good-looking and talented actors in the TV industry. He has got several offers from the Bollywood industry. He was offered the role of the antagonist in Student Of The Year 2 but he rejected it as he did not wish to start his movie career with a negative role.
Erica Fernandes
Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress is getting several offers from the Bollywood industry. But the actress reveals that she is at peace working in the TV industry.
Mohit Raina
He appeared in Uri The Surgical Strike and Shiddat. He rejected other roles though. He turned down the offer of Bipasha Basu starrer Creature 3D because he did not like it.
Mrunal Thakur
This actress was offered the role played by Fatima Sheikh in Thugs of Hindostan. She turned down the role as she did not like her character in the film.
Shaheer Sheikh
One Of the most talented and popular TV actors has been offered various Bollywood roles but has rejected each one. He mentioned that he would never sacrifice his TV career which has given him the recognition he has.
Surbhi Chandana
She has received various offers from the movie industry but she is quite clear that she wants to stick to the TV industry. She wishes to be famous in the TV industry rather than being a debutant in Bollywood.
Drashti Dhami
She is one of the most popular faces of Indian TV and was offered the lead in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns. She was busy with her show Madhubala which is why she rejected the offer.
