Ishita Ganguly reminisces her Meri Pyaari Bindu days with Ayushmann Khurrana

MUMBAI: Ayushmann Khurrana who is enjoying a purple patch in his career with back-to-back success is a man who is driven by great scripts and good directors, and sharing the screen space with a man who has an amazing aura is a dream come true for many. 

Ishita Ganguly from Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi- Kahani Mata Rani Ki is among the few actors who got an opportunity to act with the very talented Ayushmann Khurrana. The actress who is essaying the role of Maa Kali in the show played a cameo in the movie ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ in the year 2017 opposite Bollywood’s superstar Ayushmann Khurrana.

She reminisces her shoot days with the actor where she says, “I feel lucky and blessed to have worked under a big banner and with talented co-stars. I did a cameo in the film and was quite nervous to give my shot. But Ayushmann was such a gem and a down to earth artist that he made things quite easy. Even during a close shot, he was available to give me cues.” 

Ishita further adds, “It was a short period, but I learnt a lot from him. He shared stories with us which had a lot of Kolkata connectivity to it. He taught me one thing that no matter how big a star you become you need to be humble and do your work with the same passion and dedication. You need to respect your co-stars and cooperate with them.” 

Ishita who is following the guidelines set by the government for the pandemic is making sure to keep the audience motivated by sharing stories that she has learnt over the years.
