MUMBAI: Vasudha on Zed TV has been enthralling viewers with its gripping plot and interesting character development. Chandrika (Nausheen Ali Sardar) celebrates the successful conclusion of her Uttrayan fast in an intensive vrat sequence in the next episodes, which will be no exception. However, Vasudha (Priya Thakur) also secretly observes a vrat for Devansh (Abhishek Sharma). But as Savitri (Sheeba Azhar Samrat) learns Vasudha's secret, tensions rise, and the show has a suspenseful moment.

In addition to acting out a fasting scene on screen, Priya Thakur, who plays the main character Vasudha, was fasting herself on the day of filming! Priya's commitment to her spiritual practice, which involves surviving solely on fruits throughout the day, reflects her character's journey and heightens the intensity and rawness of the moments that follow.
Priya is literally living her job, whilst most performers only dream about it! The production crew made sure she had everything she needed while fasting and followed all the required safety measures on site to protect her health.
"It felt like the universe was giving me a signal because I also observe fasts every Monday and the vrat sequence was being shot on the day of my fast," Priya Thakur said. My personal passion seems to have permeated my reel life as well. It goes without saying that any fast calls for a great deal of self-control, and I have always trusted in the strength of faith and commitment. The team as a whole was also really helpful, making sure I had everything I needed to keep up my fast. It's touching how my personal convictions complemented the message we were presenting on screen in Vasudha on that memorable Monday.
Given how closely the plot is based on real events, Priya's portrayal in these next episodes will undoubtedly feel even more genuine and intense. However, it will be interesting to watch if Savitri will divulge her secret. Or will there be little drama when Vasudha finishes her vrat?
