It's not Kashmera, it's Cash-Mera, Urvashi: Kashmera Shah

Well, who doesn’t like catfights? Everyone does. Now, here’s exclusive meow-meow news from the sets of Zee Rishtey Awards. Some people can be really possessive about their name. Misspell someone’s name, or mispronounce it, he or she will whack you on the face (if not physically, certainly with words).

Okay, enough beating around the bush. This is what unfolded during the event. Kashmera (who is currently seen in Channel V’s Steal Ur Girlfriend) and Urvashi Dholakia were called on the stage to present an award. While greeting each other Kashmera did not like the way Urvashi pronounced her name. She shot back, “It’s not Kashmera, it’s Cash-Mera.” The comment was enough to trigger an exchange of words between the two. Till the time they both were on the dais, Urvashi kept on pulling Kashmera’s legs. After any comment she would smile and say, “Am I right, Cash-Mera (with an accent).” Urvashi kept on taunting Kashmera but she kept her cool. “Yes, I did tell her to pronounce my name properly. I have a Persian name, and people keep mispronouncing it. My nick name is also Cash, so it has to be Cash-Meera. I don’t think Urvashi would have liked it if I would have called her Komolika (her character name in Kasauti Zindagi Ki) instead of Urvashi,” says the sultry beauty. We also talked to Urvashi to find her side of the story and this is what she had to say, “Well, she was just telling me to pronounce her name properly. It’s absolutely okay. Yeh, I did taunt her a bit but it was a joke. I hope she didn’t take things seriously.” Hmm…all we can see are sharp claws. Nice. This is one spicy news that will bring a mean smile to the lips of readers. We bet!!!
