Among the few things that one shouldn't change in life is a barber. Shravan Reddy (aka Nakul of Jersey No.10 fame) is one among them. The trouble here though is that the actor takes an off from work and goes all the way to Pune to trim his hair. If sources to be believed, this has irked few of his co-actors.
We contacted Shravan and he did agree to going for a haircut to Pune. "Yes, I do go to Pune for my haircut. But this occurs only once in 30-40 days. My producers (Cinevistaas) are kind enough to give me a day off for it. Of course, I take an appointment and abreast my producers of it well in advance."
Surprisingly, when Mumbai boasts of the best hair salons and stylists, what is it so special about his barber in Pune? Shravan quips "Throughout my life, I've always had a fixed barber be it in Hyderabad or Pune. For two years, I resided in Pune and I got my haircut done from this particular barber. Her name is Merilyn Joy. It's always wise to have a fixed barber. Besides, Merilyn Joy is also my friend's sister"
Well, but what does he do when he's requires a particular hairdo for his show? "I do go by character's requirement. All I need to do is tell Merilyn of the required look and she does the job" said Shravan.
When asked whether his co-stars envy this privilege, Shravan replied "I'm not privy to their grief. Thus far, no one has said anything to me."
According to our source, the lead actors Shravan and Abhinav don't' share a cordial relationship. The on-screen cold war between them exists in real life too. Abhinav also gets upset with Shravan's constant chatting on the phone.
We called Abhinav to know the truth who said "It's a silly thing to get upset with someone. We share a great professional relationship. The personal equation simply doesn't matter."
